Laundry Team Leader

الوصف الوظيفي
Purpose of the Role: To drive and deliver production performance through inspirational and energetic leadership of the department team; consistently ensuring the highest standards of product quality, adherence to published service times, Health & Safety management, cost control and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Control all procedural workflow standards, seeking agreed refinements, to maximise facility output and overall mechanical efficiency.
• Organise and control all team members to ensure they are highly trained and motivated to meet or exceed all quality standards and performance targets.
• Maintain best practice standards of each laundry and dry cleaning process, updating personal knowledge within the industry on a frequent basis.
• Know, embrace and follow, without permitting any deviation, the Seven Stages of Garment Care for all Jeeves retail orders.
• Manage health and safety within the entire department, ensuring the security of colleagues, visitors, Company assets and client property at all times.
• To be an outstanding role model, liaising with and supporting all commercial customers.
• Respond to and seek rapid resolution for, all client or customer concerns.
• Maintain thorough, appropriate and accurate records, all salient information, production data and expenditure.
• To identify problems or challenges and provide solutions accordingly.
• Ensure all areas of the department and all assets are maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Establish a two-way communication culture that ensures mutual respect, by overseeing daily briefings and effective shift handovers, whilst always maintaining excellent notice boards.
• Attend necessary meetings and contribute in a positive manner.
• Present a professional image at all times, ensuring that all team members do likewise.
المهارات
• At least 5 years laundry and dry cleaning experience, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory position.
• Ability to lead, inspire and develop a team.
• Proven record of delivering outstanding quality in dry cleaning and laundry environments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to act with integrity with regards to diversity, Health and Safety and all other Company values.
• Ability to follow precisely, published procedures and standards, achieving agreed goals within defined timescales.
• Ability to overcome problems and offer solutions.
• Must be Sri Lankan, Pakistani and Nepali ONLY
