Jobs in Brief:  Perform activities as directed to ensure successful achievement and maintenance of ISO accredited Quality Management System (QMS).  QA/QC Representative for Framework Contracts Management Team of Drainage Networks O & M / ROMD.  Review and approve the project submittals / documents (PQP, ITP, Final Dossier, O & M Manuals, QA/QC Weekly/Monthly Reports and Contractor’s Key Personnel CV’s).  Carry-out inspection activities for all purchased items from suppliers (Project Spares, Supply Contracts and LPO’s) and ensure that they meet requirements/standards.  Carry-out Site Surveillance Inspections and Hand over / Taking over Inspections related to Framework Contract and Drainage Networks O & M Dept./ROMD Contracts.  Carry out internal and external QA/ QC Audits  Support Public Works Authority (PWA) and contractor compliance with new business processes (including but not limited to those associated with Enterprise Drainage Asset Management System (EDAMS)/Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS)/Frameworks), identify redundant and/or duplicate activities which could be discontinued and make suggestions for improvement  Maintain and update professional QA/QC knowledge on a regular basis to ensure best practice standards are achieved and maintained.  Upload and maintain the QA/QC records in Ashghal CDMS.  Review and approve of work orders in Maximo related to QA/QC & Third Party Inspections in Framework Contracts.  Ensure adherence to Quality, Health and Safety Policy and Procedures and comply with any new work instructions.  Perform other duties/ tasks as required

Qualification:   Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Relevant Subject  Education qualification obtained from North America, West Europe,  Chartered Membership in relevant professional body (Chartered QA/QC Engineer) preferred and would be an advantage  Physically fit to enter and work in confined spaces and the ability to undertake competency assessment to level required (essential)  Current/valid Qatar Driving License would be an advantage Experience:  Minimum of 5-10 years’ work experience in a similar position  Experience of implementing and maintaining QMS to IS 9001standard  Experience of working in a multidisciplinary Organisation preferably in the Middle East  Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety Policies and Procedures  Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and in particular Microsoft Excel 2010  Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English is essential  Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic is preferred
