Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings.
Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
Frequently interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.
Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
Evaluate, organize, and prioritize workload within a schedule.
Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.
May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
المهارات
BSc/BEng degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 12 years of overall experience, minimum of 3 years in the GCC, undertaking design/construction of similar role on Landscaping/High Rise Buildings (at least 20 stories) projects.
Having been involved in Design and construction of electrical facilities (and associated equipment) related to building projects including High Rise Buildings.
Strong knowledge and experience with design and construction of large-scale and complex electrical systems for Super High Rise Buildings.
Must have thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
Must have experience in the factory acceptance and other testing and commissioning activities of these systems.
Experience in Microsoft applications. Familiar with project management tools and/or software
Must have knowledge of current Electrical High and Low Current Electrical Engineering technology and its effective use on the project.
Must have been involved in design and Construction of large Electrical systems and/or large scale Projects
Must be able to conduct thorough design reviews.
