Parsons creates interconnected communities and world-class infrastructure.  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings.
Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
Frequently interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.
Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
Evaluate, organize, and prioritize workload within a schedule.
Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.
May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
المهارات
BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering.
Registered as Civil Engineer with professional engineering body.
At least 12 years of overall experience, minimum of 3 years in the GCC, undertaking design/construction of similar role on Landscaping/High Rise Buildings (at least 20 stories) projects.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of current Civil Engineering Technology and its effective use on the project. Construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects.
Extensive experience in Inspections of work and Review of contractors’ shop drawings.
Experience in Microsoft Applications. Familiar with project management tools and/or software.
Must be able to conduct thorough design reviews.
