Budget Monitoring and Controlling
Oversees all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate FRS standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversees the organization’s capital purchasing processes to ensure purchases made are within the approved budget parameters and according to policy requirements.
Ensures financial policies and procedures are adequate and documentation is current.
Maintains internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures.
Coordinates all audit activity.
Reviews monthly actual results compared to budget, with the department heads, so that budgets are met.
Partners with the Finance Manager in the annual budgeting process and compare to actuals to identify variances.
Provides assistance in the annual budget process with department heads.
Manages cash flow in partnership with senior management; establish finance and administrative systems to support program operations.
Manages and tracks the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
Reviews and maintains insurance coverages.
Assists in the performance of other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational goals.
Financial Management
Ensures credibility of Finance Department by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
Takes hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.
Directs and oversees all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
Provides executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
Manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and report to the Company.
People Management
Performance managing the staff, coaching/correcting behaviors and issuing disciplinary action as necessary
المهارات
Education:
BS degree in Accounting or similar discipline. CPA preferred.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, contracts and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments
Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to amusement industry and the related financial impact.
Industry Experience
At least 5 years experience in financial management position.
Personal Qualities:
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage time and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
Keen, analytic, organization and problem solving skills.
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Technology Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, internet use, and computerized financial operations
Language Skills:
English language proficiency. Knowledge and practice of Arabic language is a plus.
Communication Skills:
Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
