We are looking for someone to join the HR Team to manage all Health and Safety activities for Vodafone Qatar to ensure a safe and healthy environment is provided to all employees, suppliers, contractors and vendors. We also want to promote a culture based on wellbeing which contributes to our aspiration of being the most admired brand in Qatar.
The end result will be a smooth running HS&W;function, fully compliant with Group and Vodafone Qatar Health & Safety Policies, confidence that our contractors are also fully meeting these standards and being able to evidence this.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Identify key risks, especially those associated with outsourced contractors and their subcontractors, and manage the risk associated with our business activities.
Ensure full compliance with Vodafone Group and local Qatar H&S;legislation
Establish a documentation control process for local policy and practice documents
Audit health and safety management, performance, and site activities to ensure the vendors compliance.
Ensure that all accidents and incidents are investigated appropriately and reported, and actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
Promote health and wellbeing programs to support the culture that supports employee’s wellbeing.
المهارات
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
Health and Safety Management system.
Strong vendors and stakeholders management skills.
Good communication skills
Self-managed/ self-motivated
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Engineering degree is preferred
Position requires a minimum of 7-10 years in a telecom company as Health and Safety manager.
Competence in personal computer skills, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
H&S;certified (OHSAS 18001, and NEBOSH IGC are required as minimum. NEBOSH I-Diploma is preferred).
