DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors the construction contractors’ quality-assurance/quality-control (QA/QC) programs and conducts detailed audits to assess the level of compliance with the QA systems, procedures, and related-quality activities. Monitors and audits the quality control (QC) activities, set forth in the QA program, to confirm that products or services provided are in accordance with client quality requirements.
Checks and reviews the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site.
Checks and reviews Inspection and Testing Plans (ITP)
Interprets design plans and specifications to verify the work performed in accordance with the contract documents.
Produces activity reports as necessary to ensure that all QC activities have been fulfilled.
Inspects and monitors piling installation to ensure location and bearing.
Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures as requested by the QA/QC Manager.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
المهارات
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
BSc/BEng Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Registered as Civil Engineer with professional engineering body.
At least 8 years of experience in the field of QA/QC. Minimum of 2 years GCC experience on Landscape/High Rise Building/Mixed Use Development projects.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Knowledge of current Civil Engineering technology and its effective use on the project.
Extensive experience in Inspections of work and review of contractors’ shop drawings.
Experience in Microsoft applications. Familiar with project management tools and/or software.
