He shall be well qualified and experienced to co-ordinate all activities related to the Fire & Gas / Fire Alarm maintenance services and well versed in all aspects of Modern Fire and Gas Detection, different types of Instruments and Protection Systems. He should be well experienced in maintaining and trouble shooting of various types of detectors /Systems in similar LNG or Oil and Gas Installations. Hands on work experience are essential. He shall be well versed with Oil and Gas Plant Safety Requirements.

Qualification and Experience:
Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or ITI Certificate on Instrumentation.
Adequate knowledge in reading and interpretation of Cause & Effect Drawings
Minimum seven (6) to eight (8) years’ experience in Oil and Gas plants with at least three (3) years work experience in Fire & Gas detectors and Systems.
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the supervisory level.
Computer Literate and shall be able to generate reports.
Shall be conversant with all site coordination activities for F&G;/ Fire Alarm maintenance and will be responsible to handle all site F&G;/ Fire Alarm activities reporting to Site Engineer.
He shall attend all meetings and coordination meetings required for F&G;/ Fire Alarm activities and review work scope along with Site Engineer for effective planning of F&G;/ Fire Alarm activity and scheduling.
He shall support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigation of any F&G;/ Fire Alarm activity and implement RCFA recommendation.
He shall attend regular weekly/monthly coordination meeting and review job performance providing status update such as job completed/Job planned/Material status/manpower status, look ahead plan etc and assist preparation of monthly report
He shall compile all records of F&G;/ Fire Alarm activities as per requirements
He shall be proficient in English, both spoken and written
