Job Purpose:
Responsible for procurement of spare parts in a most strategic process covering different categories of purchasing, continuous sourcing to ensure more revenue with optimum stock level
Job Scope:
Carry out inventory and ordering activities related to automotive spare parts business, supporting the Inventory Manager, enabling to achieve a common objective to supply the required goods by the sales team with right cost, right delivery time in a cyclic inventory method
Responsible for ordering of parts required at the retail sales counter, by the service Center and by the wholesale team
Ensure availability of goods as and when required
Analyze stock movement and work closely with the sales team and the inventory team
Monitor the market to get industry knowledge as an additional buyer’s input for ordering
Coordinate with buyers to provide update in all pricing and prepare inventory reports
Analyze parts cost and arrange negotiation as and when necessary
Coordinate with Inventory Manager and maintain successful ordering analysis on perodical basis
Establish cost saving programs and monitor results
Maintain professional relationship with vendors
Monitor stock movement and maintain cyclic inventory flow
Ensure smooth communication between the inventory section, the sales team and finance group
Request quotes and negotiate purchase terms
Ensure correct costing of parts purchased
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues
Maintain accurate procurement records
Responsible for Inventory KPI as per Inventory Management Standards
Monitor market trends and competitor strategies
Provide cost analysis for new suppliers and constantly review parts cost from existing vendor
Responsible to achieve GM Standards
Ensures performance of duties within the limit of Qatar Law and the company policies and procedures

Maximum 40 years of age
Preferred Education:
Graduate of four year course, related to business management
Preferred Experience:
At least 8 years experience in parts ordering and inventory control
With good knowledge in GM Automotive parts
Good experience in supply chain process, enterprise planning/ or Oracle-ManERP
Preferred Qualification:
Good in English, knowledge in Arabic will be an advantage
With commercial and business awareness
Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
Good in numbers, familiar with stock control equations and terminologies
Good negotiation skills
Ability to analyze purchasing data using MS office Tools
Proficient in MS Office and Oracle
