The supervisor is responsible for all field activities on construction projects. Accountability includes overall project site management and adherence to quality, safety, schedule, budget and specifications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage construction crews, inspect ongoing work, arrange for necessary equipment and keep construction project cost
• Communicate well to provide team members with clear instructions and to give managers and clients pertinent updates.
• Keep track of the progress of each project to ensure that it is meeting the Standards as well as communicating with inspectors about compliance with building codes and assist with on-site inspections.
• Supervise and follow up through regular visits the work of construction in progress, in order to ensure deadlines, budget and technical specifications and to early detect potential deviations
• Negotiate agreements and permissions for construction project; establish regular contacts with local authorities, in order to ensure all required documentation is filled upon and to avoid delays.
• Motivate team members to stay on task and work hard
• Pay close attention to detail to avoid errors or safety lapses
• Ensure that the materials used are in accordance with the technical specifications and are appropriate (quality control)
المهارات
• Bachelor degree preferred in engineering, construction management or any other related field.
• Minimum of five years in the construction industry, with some leadership experience
• Understanding building codes, safety guidelines and regulations addressing construction projects
• Excellent organization and planning skills to prioritize and balance work
• Ability to lead others in the completion of a schedule, budget guidelines, and customer requirements
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Saudi Nationals Required.
