Assistant Store Keeper

Job Description and Requirements
SUMMARY
Assist and support inventory controller to record and maintain control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Ensure compliance to all established internal control procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the store keeper in all day to day store related activities.
Responsible to received, unload and store all raw materials, tools, spares and consumables.
Issue all material as per request made to store dept and maintain records as per physical stock.
Evaluate and monitor inventories to ensure proper levels in accordance with manufacturing needs.
Make periodic report to head of department, to make purchase request for items below minimum level.
Unload and offload containers of raw materials and any other inventory items received.
Support and Coordinate with head of department for periodic cycle counts.
Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
Verify received quantities to match purchase order.
Store and organize received material and oversee housekeeping.
Follow up with purchase department to avoid any shortage to the production line.
Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
Should be able to operator forklift for loading and off-loading materials.
Other duties as assigned
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in inventory control. Middle east experience preferred.
Experience working on ERP system.
Strong computer skills (Outlook & MS office).
Fluent in English - ability to communicate with ease and make inventory reports. (Arabic language would be added advantage)
Experience & Knowledge working with QMS.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Work conditions are normal for office and shop floor environment.
Work requires local travel.
