الوصف الوظيفي
• Ensuring key performance indicators are in place and reported on, being utilized to ensure production targets are met
• Detect critical production issues using data including quality and engineering requirements, working with support functions to identify and drive solutions as necessary
• Holding daily production touchpoints with the Team to ensure plan vs actual
• Working with Production Leader to manage and approve all Overtime for the product line/business area
• Work with planner in the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly production schedule to include manpower & maintenance requirements
• Developing and implementing the skills matrix and training plan for product line/business area to manage training requirements of team(s) including regulatory and compliance training
• Working with Production Manager to understand the requirements and then manage indirect/direct Labour hours
• Develop productivity opportunities to maximize cost reduction and drive financial performance
• Regularly reviewing process flow to ensure efficiencies are optimized and support/lead Action Workouts, utilizing lean principles/problem solving as appropriate to improve processes.
• Effectively communicating the business strategy, customer updates and key milestones to Production Manager and support teams
• Deputize for Production Manager as required.

The Operations Leader will be required to:
• Develop and manage Labor flexibility within teams in order to support the broader operational needs of the business
• Work with leadership teams across other product lines to identify ‘second homes’ for employees to support production needs.
• Partner with HR to support recruitment and the hiring process for the product line/ business area
• Ensure standards of discipline are maintained & handle breaches in line with Company discipline, integrity & grievance procedures.
• Effectively manage absence through utilization of the Company absence management process including:
• Authorized Absence Approval
• Conduct Absence Review Meetings/visits - Long term
• Lead, engage and support the growth and development of direct reports through Performance Development
• Give and seek open and authentic feedback
• Attend HR reviews
• Ensure adherence to all Site policies and work in partnership with HR to manage employee requests including but not limited to the Flexible Working process, paternity/maternity/shared parental leave and emergency leave.
• Support Quality, EHS, customer and regulatory audits and implement action plans to close out audit findings
المهارات
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with significant experience in Manufacturing) or equivalent experience
• Min 5 years of previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
