Help Desk Specialist is responsible to support and maintain in-house technology equipment and IT assets. This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all corporate hardware and equipment while ensuring its optimal performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required.

Perform all types of hardware maintenance, configuration, and installation…etc., needed or recommended throughout Problem Diagnostics.
Recheck working properly after performing the planned maintenance to ensure adequacy of the diagnostics.
Answer user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware to resolve problems.
Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
Setup equipment for employee use, performing and ensuring proper installations of cables, operating systems, and appropriate software.
Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following designs and installation specifications.
Maintain records of daily repair communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, and installation activities.
Refer major hardware, software problems or defective products to vendors for service.
Buy minor equipment needed for the operations of the IT department, like cables, connectors, and computer accessories.
Provide occasional on-call and after-hours support on a monthly rotating basis

Education and Experience
· Microsoft Windows 2008/10
· Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Subnetting)
· Remote access technologies (VPN, TeamViewer, terminal services)
· Microsoft office
