Quality Control Inspector

Job Description and Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Inspect first off and do first article inspections

·
Inspect API RSC connections

·
Review Material test certificates with
respect to the PO and Drawing requirements.

·
Batch inspection before outsourcing

·
Carry out in-process audits in shop floor

·
Inspect goods inwards including OP/OS,
etc. to the relevant drawings and PO requirements

·
Receiving OS in JDE

·
Raise NCRs for both in house products
and supplier products in JDE.

·
Raise shipping NCRs for the
intercompany orders.

·
Inspects finished parts and document
inspection

·
Pass parts off using JDE.

·
Update procedures and specs when
required.

·
Calibration and control of gauge room
using AIMS

·
Train machinists on the purpose of the
profile projector of inspecting thread profiles and other dimensions.

·
Train machinists on the use of the
mails, track for setting thread rolls for inspecting thread functional roll
dimensions.

·
Inspection of NCR parts for assembly
and suggest rework

·
Inter-company parts receiving
inspection before getting them in stock.

·
Carry out MPI, PT and UT as per the
requirements shown in QA plans.

·
Phosphate unit titration and control
phosphate process as per specification
requirements

·
Review and control shot peening process
as per specification requirements.

·
Raw material MTC review of the
inventory parts.

·
Comply with NOV HSEQ Policy and Safety
Procedures to avoid incidents and accidents.

·
Maintain clean and orderly work area.

·
Final inspection, Document review and
Scanning WO in the Shared Drive and upload in OnBase

·
Prepare COCs with respect to the
customer requirements

·
Assist Quality Manager for Internal,
External and Third-party Audits.

·
Any Job related task assigned by the
line manager
