Objectives:

Our client, a construction company supplying building requirements with high quality construction chemicals, is looking for a Research and Development Manager to join their team in Dammam.  The main objective of this job is to Lead key projects with R&D;to support business goals.

Responsibilities:

Lead key projects with R&D;to support business goals.

Understand customer expectations.

Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers.

Manage the DIM (Product development Introduction and Maintenance) meeting.

Manage the process of testing of Fire proofing product by third party.

Support Director to hire and develop R&D;personnel.

Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Marketing and Operations.

Transfer new technologies, products and manufacturing process into and out of company.

Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes and equipment.

Document all phases of research and development.

Manage customer relationships and perform, Customer Visits and Product Testing.

Investigate new technologies.

Creative & Innovative ideas to overcome the competition.

المهارات
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree or Diploma with Chemical background.
5 years of experience in the same field.
Experience in Development of Industrial paints.
Experience in Development of Marine and Protective coating is preferable.
Experience in development of Intumescent Paint Experience in managing Quality control section (Raw Material and Finished Products).
Thorough knowledge of Paint Machinery and Paint Testing Instruments required as per BIS, ISO, and ASTM etc.
Knowledge of ISO certification and SOP for machinery & products.
Knowledge of competitor’s equivalent products and cost reduction of our products suiting to market requirement without hampering the quality.
Leading abilities to train Chemists.
Experience in giving quick solutions for the problems faced by shop floor during regular production.
Thorough knowledge of alternate raw materials in case of unavailability or price increase of regular raw materials.
