Major Functions:

Account Officers keep precise records of incoming and outgoing

payments. This may include arranging payment requests, making payments for

services, verifying accounts payable and receivable, and researching financial account

activity, among other duties. Must have knowledge of basic accounting procedures, be

open to learning, and have strong communication skills, and be loyal to the company.

Ultimately, should be able to achieve excellent customer service and maintain accurate

financial records.

Basic Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparing all periodic financial statements and related reports.
Handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables
Responsible for taxation and compliance (including knowledge in VAT, and service taxes)
Analyzing financial statements while also implementing financial control and cost control systems.
Administering Accounts data back – up daily, weekly, and monthly.
Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts including Inter-company accounts.
Reconcile all bank accounts and process bank-related transactions if needed.
Assist in Collection – requesting due payments from Clients.
Enter all financial transactions into the System.
Issuing Fixed Assets Net Value Tables.
Perform different clerical duties (mailing, typing, filing…)
Any task related to his position assigned by his direct manager

المهارات
Education:

Bachelor degree in Accounting
ACCA or CA certification
IFRS Knowledge

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of intensive accounting experience.

Skills:

Bilingual: ability to effectively communicate in English & Arabic (both written and verbal)
Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills
Detail Oriented and exerts good analytical skills
Time management and ability to meet deadlines
