JOB CONTENT

To supervise a team of warehouse personnel to ensure effective functioning of Warehouse(s), Inventory Management, On-time delivery of shipments to the client destinations, while effectively managing the Order Fulfillment and Transportation cycles.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Operations:

 Serves as the primary contact at Precision for both inbound and outbound Warehousing operations and resolves all issues as they arise with respect to Warehousing, Shipping and Customer orders.

 Monitoring and maintaining System versus Physical Inventory accuracy / adjustments, close track in daily finished goods: inwards - outwards, documentations, RMA’s (returns), etc.

 Able to define SOPs, manage & monitor all interactions / communications with Shipping lines / Trucking Cos, Clearance Agents, etc related to Land / Sea / Air transportation for all Domestics, Import & Export process

 Ensures SOPs for proactive planning of Containers, Trucks, documentation & shipments, scheduling and preparation of shipments are streamlined with relevant stakeholders & ensure shipments are delivered “On-time” to Customers.

 Ensure team prepares and records required shipping documentation for all customer orders while ensuring content and accuracy of all shipping documents.

 Monitor the accuracy for quantities / varieties / specifications of the goods dispatched and ensure that they are strictly as per the requirements & associated “Packing List” & “Invoices”.

 Supervise the loading and dispatch operations to ensure the dispatch team strictly follows the delivery schedules along with generation of appropriate documents to ensure no delays are caused.

 To accomplish documentations / communications required, including forwarding the shipment advice / packing list to relevant parties post loading of shipments. Track shipments and proactively take actions to mitigate delays in anticipated delivery dates.

 Coordinate shipment claims closely and ensure all relevant documentations are in place to lodge claims with the insurance company, & maintain adequate follow-up w.r.t. the claim recovery to ensure all claims are recovered on time.

 Ensure all records are maintained & updated at all times – Inventory, Invoicing, Transportation & Shipping, MIS, etc. - and have full traceability and retrieval at all times and that all processes, procedures & activities comply with ISO and Management procedures.

 Ensure right Co-ordination with Customer Service (CS), MRP Planning & Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth Order Management & fulfillment.

 Ensure right Planning & Coordination with QA/QC Team where quality Assurance Certificate is required.

 Perform given inputs for any other job/task assigned by the Manager to meet department objectives.

Cost Management:

 Continually reviews freight costs & transportation rates to keep costs down and as per Approved rates.

Responsible for all duty customs sales and tax functions, including certification and verification, drawback, and compliance with governmental agencies.

Continuous Improvement:

 Creative, thinks Outside-the-Box, Analytical & able to execute Continuous Improvement Projects to drive Productivity / Cost improvement. Improve warehouse work processes in partnership with the Supply Chain team in order to create a more efficient fulfillment system.

Regulatory:

 Responsible for Regulatory, Statutory & HSE compliance of Warehouse. Ensure right escalations & coordination with Manager to plan & execute seamless compliance.

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

 Monitor staff attendance, roasters and identify all issues in team and provide continuous support to all members according to operating standards on daily basis.

 Manage all personnel in the section and provide necessary inputs on individual’s performance gap and training plan to up-skill the Team.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, FUNCTIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Education/ Qualifications

 Graduate in any discipline Experience

 A minimum of 6 years’ in Warehousing / Freight logistics preferably in a Manufacturing unit.

 Min 3 Years of managing warehouses independently in KSA region

 Established warehouse supervisory expertise with capability of managing larger diverse teams Language Requirements

 Bilingual in both English and Arabic Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge

 Good Knowledge of ERP, warehousing best-practices, packing and stacking methods.

 MRP & Demand-Supply Planning understanding / experience is a plus.

 Knowledge of Quality systems and procedures.

 Knowledge of Warehousing, Freight forwarding tools.

 Well versed with MS-Office tools – Excel, Word, Power-point
