الوصف الوظيفي To supervise and direct a team of production staff in the areas of production performance, scheduling, safety, maintenance and quality and communicate job expectation to ensure plastic products are manufactured as per the specification with high precision in quality and finish with optimum utilization of available resources. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of shop floor staff who are involved in both primary and secondary processing machines and interpret product specifications and job orders. Perform manpower allocation and shift arrangements upon the approval of the Production Executive and establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Coordinate with the planning team for machine allocation and inform the operators accordingly. Partner with the planning & supply chain team for issuing required materials to the production department. Follow the production schedule and issue appropriate job data sheet to the machines and communicate the same to the machine operators. Maintain work flow by monitoring production process, equipment and personnel and establishing process variables to meet production goals. Conduct development trials as when required, prepare trial report and maintain record of process parameters, change parts, and preserve trial samples for future use till development is not complete. Solve operational difficulties, render technical advice to machine operators / technicians, engage in process setting if needed and personally direct the production operations to improve productivity and quality. Perform stage inspection of the product to ensure compliance to specification and identify recurring process defects and take immediate corrective action to minimize rejection and machine downtime. Observe strict implementation of Corrective/ Preventive action points to avoid repetition of customer complaint. Responsible for periodic maintenance of moulds and maintain relevant records of maintenance and spare parts consumption. Monitor utilization of resources (Material, Machine Hours, Manpower, Consumables) and recommend measures to improve production methods, efficiencies, equipment performance, and quality of product. Follows lean manufacturing techniques and maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standard and ensures all processes, procedures and activities meet and match those as laid down under company ISO and management procedures. Identify, suggest and implement potential improvements in production process to achieve higher quality and volumes in shorter timings at optimum cost levels. Maintain the records (ISO, Production) & document both hard and soft copies as needed and ensure that it is timely updated and accurate. To strictly ensure company’s HSE guidelines are followed by personnel on Production Shop floor to maintain high level of hygiene, safety and to meet the standards of products produced. Ensure compliance to Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environment requirements as specified in the global QHSE Management System with strict adherence to ISO and local regulatory authority. Ensure that all records and documents are up to date and have full traceability and retrieval at all times and that all processes, procedures & activities comply with ISO and management procedures. PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT Monitor staff attendance and identify all issues in team and provide continuous support to all members according to operating standards on daily basis. Manage all personnel in the section and provide necessary inputs on individual’s performance gap and training plan to the Production Executive. المهارات Education/ Qualifications Graduate/Diploma in technical subjects Special trainings preferably in Plastic/CPET Experience Minimum of 6 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing industry from plastic and or packaging.
