Job Summary:
The Construction Manager will report directly to the Terminals Senior Project Manager and ensure the team is delivering and directing the highest quality work at all times as a trusted advisor to the Client. The CM is to also ensure Contractors compliance to approved WMS & ITPS

The post also requires the CM to be responsible to plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria along with determine potential issues affecting construction progress and provide foresight as to the means of avoiding and mitigating them.

Responsibilities:
Assign work activities and daily tasks to site engineers, electrical inspectors, etc and monitor work flow and review and evaluate work products
Supervise and manage the activities of the company site personnel assigned to their package of works.
Ensure works being undertaken by contractor have been allotted sufficient manpower, equipment and material in accordance with the approved schedules and WMS.
Ensure works are executed by the package contractors conform with project specifications and are performed in accordance with the drawings and the agreed quality levels.
Establish and implement a system to check all relevant drawings released for execution of the works prior to commencement of each work item on site.
Ensure proper HS&E;risk assessment of all upcoming works is completed and all necessary measures are implemented on site by the contractor team.
Coordinate, liaise and ensure a continuous flow of communication between all disciplines on site and the contractor PMs of projects that interface or have interdependencies with or on KKIA projects assigned to the company (including KKIA operations).

Specific Skills Required:
Able to conduct Civil/Structural engineering calculations.
Able to conduct Civil/Structural engineering plans, design, and layout.
Able to conduct Civil/Structural project specifications.
Able to conduct Civil/Structural engineering portion of project proposals.
Able to conduct Civil/Structural engineering portion of project cost estimates.

Qualifications:
BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Construction/Engineering works
Experience working on construction projects in GCC preferably KSA.
Experience QA/QC is considered an asset
