Responsibilities
Ensure System Engineering activity management within constraints provided by approved architecture and design policy: • Manage the requirements and conformance of the system to deliver • Contributes to engineering’s WBS, OBS and associated tasks, tailors development process and ensures achievement of the development baselines (functional, allocated and product); implements matrix’s compliance and traceability • Contributes to manage Risks & Opportunities of design and development, guarantees program commitments, including those flown down to subcontractors and partners • Identify and manages interfaces with other subsystems • Perform the necessary design activities in conjunction with the peer System Engineer (SE), the System Subcontractor(s) and Manufacturers • Collect all necessary user information and perform associated configuration design • Prepare, consolidate and review Interface Control Documents for associated systems • Regularly communicates to engineering and project teams • Works closely with Project Design Authority (PDA) and Work Package Managers in projects • Defines and tailors the engineering environment suitable for the Project • Prepare the necessary technical documentation for submittal to the Engineer • Coordinate with other systems for the successful integration of the security system • Plan, Supervise Support the installation, configuration and testing and commissioning test activities associated with the security system • Ensure security system readiness for Metro Opening • Participate in internal and customer technical meetings
