MEP Interface Engineer

Company:
Our client is a Multinational Engineering and Contracting firm which operates in the railway sector. They are currently involved with in the Design and Build of a new metro project in Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.

Opportunity:
MEP Interface Engineer to work on the Riyadh Metro Project.

Responsibilities and functions:
Ensure compliance of all interfacing parties with the Employer’s Requirements and following the Project Execution Plan.
Interface coordination with various parties such as Consortium Entities, other Consortiums, Detailed engineering Subcontractors, etc.
Ensure consistency between our systems and information exchanged with the SCADA, OCC or other external interfaces.
Definition and acceptance of the list of interfaces between with the Systems Contractor.
Creation of Design Control Interface Documents for all Systems Contractor interfaces. These documents contain Technical description of the interfaces Activity flow definition for work performed at both sides of the interface Dates and planning if the implementation of the interface.
Development of coordinated interface programme.
Coordinating internally with internal teams (Design, Construction, Contract Project Control, etc.) to ensure all interface requirements are addressed and fulfilled.
Preparing monthly reports and other deliverables to Management and the Client.
Capturing the changes due to interface, inform and support the Contract department.
Update the Interface Matrix covering the overall System
Define the Interface Register covering the overall System
Tracking of interfaces Requirements
Attending Interface meetings.

Education:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from reputed University.

Experience:
10 to 15 years post graduate experience with at least 5-6 years in a similar position in the UAE/GCC
Experience indicated above should be in a similar capacity in a reputable construction Company, preferably with some of that experience being gained in KSA/UAE/GCC.
