• Lead and manage a team of Bi-lingual and Native English speakers in the daily running of the college.
• Conduct formal and informal lesson observations and provide feedback in a timely manner in accordance with an observation schedule.
• Conduct new instructor orientation and guidance.
• Assist the Academic Training Manager in the selection and interview of new instructors.
• Prepare and deliver periodic professional development sessions for instructors.
• Lead staff communication meetings for instructors.
• Assist the Academic Training Manager in the review of program learning outcomes, core texts and the use of supplementary materials to enhance learning.
• Coordinate the preparation of revision materials for assessments.
• Manage the daily schedule and group allocations of the college and provide effective substitution for absent instructors.
• Assist learning counsellors to coordinate all remedial and retest sessions for trainees after major testing sessions.
• Assist the Academic Training Manager in conducting all probationary reviews, ongoing and annual performance reviews for instructors.
• Work with all relevant parties to coordinate the admission of new trainees into the academic program at the start of each academic year.
• Load permitting may be required to teach classes with notable performance issues.
• Handle classroom related incident reports with instructors and student affairs.
• Assist learning counsellors to ensure appropriate action is taken when a cause for concern is raised against a trainee.
• Assist student advisors in the management of trainee day-to-day issues.
• Actively monitor classrooms to encourage student centered learning is taking place.
• Assist lab instructors and coordinators to ensure effective use of technology in the academic program.
• Monitor instructors and trainees to ensure active compliance with SPSP rules and regulations
• Prepare assessment schedules to comply with SPSP test administration policy and procedures.
•Ensure classroom facilities and teaching resources are sufficient for the delivery of the academic program.
• Authorize release of trainees from SPSP campus during class times
• Authorize trainees to enter class in cases of excused absence.
• Raise IT and maintenance requests to the support services group to ensure proper upkeep of facilities.
• Assist Academic Training Manager to ensure accurate book inventory is maintained.
• Deliver presentations to managers and SPSP stakeholders at study team meetings.

• Computer literate with a solid knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel and database management.
• Ability to multi task and work as part of a team.
• Organizes and plans work systematically and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate effective presentation skills
