REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications: (Degree, training, or certification required) • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Civil)
• Engineering, Procurement & Construction EPC (direct/indirect) project management experience.
• Legal savvy, direct experience with major contractual agreements.
Preferred Qualifications: (Degree, training, or certification required) • Certified as PMP, RMP, CCMP shall be preferred.
• Master’s Degree (MBA / Engineering or Construction Management) shall be added advantage.
Minimum Experience: (Technical, functional, and/or leadership experience required) min 10 years’ of working experience in contracting, contract management & administration
Job Specific Skills: (Key functional, leadership, or business skills required) • Ability to draft contract terms and conditions, draft contract templates and write scope of work for Mega Projects in oil& gas industry.
• In depth knowledge of legal terminologies and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Laws and regulations
• Working knowledge of legal terminology, contract interpretation and practices; ability to prepare and negotiate contract drafts.
• Possesses knowledge of types of Contracts like EPC, EPCM, Turnkey, FEED, Licensing Agreements, etc.
• Huge exposure to overall project contract planning, prequalification, ITB preparation/issue, commercial evaluation and analysis, negotiation and awarding, as well as, administration and close out of EPC /EPCm contracts and contracts covering any elements of FEED/EPC/EPCM.
• Ability to draft settlement agreement, contract amendments, termination agreements, Novation, 3 party agreements, commercial methods, etc.
• Capability to draft and negotiate change orders, variation orders, closeouts, etc.
• Experience in handling claims, disputes in major EPC Projects.
• Strong negotiation & interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide adequate and timely advice / recommendations on contractual matters as needed,
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledgeable with policies, procedures, systems and best practices in the areas of Contracts Management and supplier qualifications
