To supervise a team of belt technicians to ensure that they complete the good quality of conveyor belt installation activity in the stipulated time and proper handover to the customer.
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the project planning, execution and reporting to the Projects Manager as planned and that the relevant documents/ standards including Work Permit conditions are complied with.
• Check working methods and precautions to be taken by technicians before commencing.
• Supervise a team of belt technicians to ensure that they carry out their work effectively and safely.
• Should be self-driven and highly motivated and responsible for job allocation, arrangement of material, effective execution and supervision of the daily operations plan and will be responsible for manpower planning at the site.
• To facilitate execution of the operations at site and ensure necessary competence of personnel in the department and complete the field jobs in safe and timely manner and also coordinate with the safety department for smooth operations and handover.
• Execute shift job plan by using proper resources to ensure smooth operations.
• Skilled in relationship management and communication with excellent analytical and leadership ability. Coordination with the client and safety department.
• Strong skills in reviewing the tasks assigned to him and his team, appraising superiors, timely auditing, and site inspection.
• Proficient on developing metrics to improve all area of conveyor belt services.
• Good command on English communication – verbal and written, MS office, Scheduling and Planning.
