الوصف الوظيفي Develops the Information Technology Department strategy aligned with Business Line strategy to ensure vertical and horizontal integration with other interfacing initiatives and departments across AGOC. Develops department policies, processes and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled. Develops and maintains the highest standards of IT infrastructure to support AGOC’s corporate strategy. Leads capacity planning for systems and approves all hardware and software procurements for the recommended platforms and provides strategic direction on end-to-end operational process across the Department. Manages the implementation of appropriate software solutions and hardware infrastructure that are acquired to support business processes and obtains feedback from users to determine effectiveness of these systems. Oversees the coordination of key systems implementation (such as SAP) to ensure effectiveness in the business processes across the company. Oversees the implementation of network security, anticipate future network needs and identify proactive solutions to satisfy requirements effectively. Defines and oversees the implementation of an effective & robust control (authorization), back up, Virus defence and security systems to safeguard & protect all IT operations & ensure the reliability & integrity of data. Ensures effective IT governance and compliance with requisite standards as per AGOC guidelines. Monitors best practice across industry to implement/adapt appropriate processes or standards within AGOC. Establishes and maintains effective working relations with Saudi Aramco, KJO and other government entities in terms of various requirements such as data transfer, telecommunication, security, etc. Maintains effective contact and coordination with software and hardware vendors, consultants and service providers for effective provision of IT services and products in line with AGOC’s requirements. Maintains effective coordination and regular contact with all relevant internal departments to understand their requirements and to ensure these internal customers are ably supported in terms of IT services and infrastructure. Attends cross-functional, inter-department meetings and workshops whenever required to ensure shared understanding on IT plans and processes. Monitors the work output of IT staff and guides them where necessary while advising them on changing priorities or strategic initiatives to help them perform effectively. Implements relevant standards, controls and risk-assessment measures in order to maximise the effectiveness of a work process or plan initiative. Organises and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within the IT department is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy. Oversees the selection and management of IT contractors, and ensure that services are being carried out to meet set AGOC standards and defined service level agreements (SLA). Participates in IT Seminars, Marketing Events, Product and Service Awareness meetings with vendors. Prepares and recommends the development of Information Technology Department’s annual budget, and monitors financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment. Reviews all department reports for accuracy and in order to ensure that they conform to Company and department requirements, policies and standards. Directs the process of effective department performance, overseeing performance management, recruitment, training and development of staff to ensure high level of engagement and a motivated work environment. المهارات 21 – 27 years’ experience in various IT specializations in the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years in a Management role. Highly refined communication skills including ability to negotiate, build consensus, clearly articulate to technical and non-technical audiences, communicate difficult messages in a professional and productive manner, excellent presentation and facilitation competence and ability to represent IT as a leader in cross-functional discussions/initiatives.
