Senior HSE Engineer

Job Purpose:
Roles at this stage considered as first stage incumbents in the division depending on their academic background and experience. The incumbents should be able to demonstrate awareness and introductory understanding to apply, with guidance and under supervision, the required competency in a few situations. This may include planning, organizing training, auditing, testing and consulting to result in adding value to relevant stakeholder’s management systems.
Accountabilities:
1. Following all related internal and external policies and procedures.
2. Provide OSH management system services (training, auditing, testing and consulting) as requested
3. Observe practices in the section and develop an understanding and appreciation of company’s activities to be competent to undertake own role.
Perform activities with guidance where required in the assigned area of work. Report and update individual work done within the time frame. Interact with related stakeholders and clients
Carry out all HSE activities related to planning, organizing, training, auditing, testing and consulting as assigned in the most effected and efficient manner.
8. Report regularly to the assigned manager on the progress or problems in related services.
9. Complies with all relevant quality and HSE procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
10. Ensure and safeguard all tangible and intangible assets belong to the organization.
11. Perform other assignments or work as may be assigned by the direct superior.

General:
e Timely reporting.
¢ Compliance with company code of ethics.
e Compliance to contractual agreements.
e Cordial work relationship with colleagues.
¢ Compliance to all applicable policies, procedures and work instructions as per QHSE, ISO standards and the legal / regulatory requirements.
Additional tasks that maybe assigned by superiors that fall within the scope of job description, KPI’s, academic specialization and practical experience.
These may be amended from time to time with changes in the organization or the job.
