Works with analysts to determine market trends compare pricing schedules
Researches and analyses current product trends and offerings to determine which products retail stores should stock
Selects and orders products to be sold in specific departments or stores
Coordinates with buyers and vendors to get the selected products delivered to stores on time
Ensures that received orders are accurate and in good condition upon arrival
Creates store displays for certain items or lines to promote product offerings
Designs shelving arrangements and retail layouts in stores to maximise customer interest and increase sales
