Electrical Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
JOB PURPOSE:

Electrical Engineer will be responsible for carrying out maintenance activities of all electrical equipment’s at the power plant. He will be responsible for producing and implementing preventive and breakdown maintenance including outage activities. Responsible for reviewing plant technical documents, SLDs, P&ID;’s, troubleshooting of plant systems and equipment, planning, organizing, integrating and direction of resources such as labor, tools and materials as required completing the work scope according to contractual requirements.

6. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor Degree in an Electrical Engineering or Diploma supplemented by relevant on the job training and experience
- Professional Accreditation
- Min 3 years experience within the power generation industry in a range of roles including engineering, operation or maintenance
- Prior experience and in-depth knowledge of engineering asset management on high voltage/power generation systems including protective devices and system auxiliaries.

- strong communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with both internal and external personnel at all levels of seniority

- experience in handling unit outages/contractors/service teams with quality of work as per best utility practice
