الوصف الوظيفي 4.1 Adheres to hospital philosophy and mission. 4.2 Adheres to infection control policy. 4.3 Reflects the values and philosophy of nursing department in Security Forces Hospital Dammam. 4.4 Provides direct, professional nursing care to a specified population of patients in an inpatient or an outpatient setting. 4.5 Plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for all classifications of patient, on an assigned unit. 4.6 Defines the responsibilities and assigns the specific duties of In-charge nurse and registered Nurse. 4.7 Assesses in plans and implements the unit teaching program for staff personnel in cooperation with nursing education Supervisor. 4.8 Estimates needs for supplies and equipment, recommend quality of supplies, assure availability countered of supplies over 24 hours. 4.9 Prepares Monthly rotation schedules. 4.10 Holds monthly meeting with the personnel to discuss new ideas concepts and methods pertaining to improvement of patient care. 4.11 Maintains effective channels of communication and reports with all departments. 4.12 Serves as a member of nursing, hospital and medical staff committees indicated. 4.13 Plans future needs of patient care, staffing requirements. 4.14 Supervises documentations, review and revisions of the unit procedure manual. 4.15 Promotes harmonious inter-personal relationships on the nursing unit and other departments. 4.16 Encourages professional growth of nursing personnel in her/his unit and recommend appropriate training required. 4.17 Work as shift supervisor whenever is required. 4.18 Maintains confidentiality of patient records. 4.19 Respects &supports;patient rights. 4.20 Team responsibilities – Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to facilitate unit function, productivity, and efficiency. 4.21 Utilizes safety precautions when handling cytotoxic agents. 4.22 Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein. 4.23 Participates in Patient Safety & Family Education Program. 4.24 Attends shift reports, head nurse’s meetings and other nursing Councils meetings he/she is involved with. 4.25 Support the application for Magnet Accreditation. 4.26 To uphold the Hospitals visions, mission and goals in becoming preferred medical care provider. 4.27 To work closely with all unit nurses and auxiliary staff, Head Nurses and Nursing Supervisors to achieve the highest possible standard of patient care delivery and cost efficiency. 4.28 The Head nurse of Security Forces Hospital Program – Dammam do hereby establish a model of Shared Governance to promote and encourage participation and involvement in the nursing faculties’ decision-making process. The success of shared Governance depends upon cooperation and trust attained, the values shared and the consensus achieved among and between individuals within this group of the organization. 4.29 Collaborate on research projects related to nursing and medical care and multidisciplinary services. 4.30 Support the Shared Governance Charter. 4.31 May provide direct patient care. المهارات
