4.2 Providing an appropriate climate for learning, and facilitate the learning process by developing, planning, and presenting educational activities and directly or indirectly fostering the development of competence in the nursing staff.
4.3 Assisting learners to identify both their learning needs and the effective learning activities required to meet those needs while fostering a positive attitude about the benefits and opportunities of life-long learning.
4.4 Identifying changes that should be made in nursing practice using an evidence-based approach and facilitating the initiation of, adoption of, and adaptation to change.
4.5 Acting as both a formal and informal consultant, assisting with the integration of new learning into nursing practice and serving as a resource by assisting nurses in identifying problems, identifying available internal and external educational resources, and selecting educational options.
4.6 Modelling behaviours that reflect affiliations with professional organizations as well as the community.
4.7 Providing on-going evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of the educational activities to ensure that they maintain and enhance professional development that promotes the delivery of cost-effective high quality healthcare.
4.8 Collaborating with others in the practice of nursing professional development at the institutional, local, regional and state levels.
4.9 Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, and cost in planning, delivering, and managing nursing professional development activities.
4.10 Participates in the Patient Safety and Family Education Program.
4.11 Attends shift report and other nursing meetings related to his/her job.
4.12 Meets legal and accreditation standards for personal competency through .
4.13 Collaborate on research and evidence-based practice projects related to nursing and medical care and multidisciplinary services.

4.18 Collaborating with faculty’s school of nursing to provide optimal student clinical experience throughout preceptorship or internship programs while maintaining a safe effective environment for the patient.

3.0 EDUCATION/LICENSURE:3.0 EDUCATION/LICENSURE:
3.1 Graduate of Professional School of Nursing.
3.2 Bachelor’s Degree from accredited University/College or country-specific post-diploma formal education.
3.3 License from Country of Origin
3.4 License from the Saudi Council (SCFHS).
3.5 MSN is preferable
4.0 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
6.1 Has worked as staff nurse for a minimum of six (6) years. 5.0 SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE:
5.1 Certification in BLS is mandatory
5.2 Advanced life support certification based on area of assignment.
5.3 Requires knowledge of computer software applications.
5.4 He/ she must be creative, flexible and have critical thinking skills.
5.5 He/ she should have a strong clinical background
5.6 Knowledge of culture and diversity of the Native population.
5.7 Knowledge on how to collect pertinent information related to potential educational needs of the nurse, and could identify specific nurse problems that affect program planning and development.
5.8 Skills to ensure planned educational activities are implemented and the knowledge to conduct comprehensive evaluations of all educational activities.
5.9 Knowledge of a variety of educational options such as academic education, experiential learning, consultation, teaching others, professional reading, distance learning, research, and self-directed activities.
5.10 Has knowledge of professional nursing principles, practices, concepts, and procedures as applied to the care of the patient population it serve.
5.11 Has personal and specialized knowledge in the nursing management and care by utilization of Nursing Process.
5.12 Has specialized skill in maintaining, operating, and monitoring complex equipment.
