الوصف الوظيفي The position of Shift Analyst (Laboratory) is responsible for accurately performing approved test methods on a routine basis from raw materials, intermediates and finished products. Responsibility for completing high priority items within specific time frames and the flexibility to coordinate multiple activities will be important to the effectiveness of this position. The position will work a rotating shift schedule and is an integrated part of a shift team. Key Duties and Responsibilities § Test accurately process effluents and finished products for approval of the products. § Prepare and standardize lab reagents and standard solutions for testing. § Follows approved analytical procedures for all routine testing. § Adhere to policies, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of QA/QC Laboratory at MWSPC. § Enter data into Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) for recording and storing test data. § Inventory laboratory equipment, spare parts and consumables stock levels to establish minimum stocking levels needed to minimize the instrument downtime. § Maintain equipment and workplace clean and tidy for safe and orderly working conditions § Adhere to established guidelines and work instructions for test methods to establish standard test procedures. § Freely share knowledge with less experienced analyst on new working procedures and safety precautions for safe and efficient maintenance work. § Periodically calibrate chemical reagents to ensure the accuracy of readings and outputs. § Practice good housekeeping by ensuring all laboratory areas are left clean and tidy all times. § Follows all safety instructions and notices, and wears protective equipment at all times. § Performs other similar or related duties as directed by his supervisor. Health, Safety and Environmental § Promote a culture of “Safety First” as reflected by low accident and incident rates. § Ensure implementation of the operational HSE Management System to ensure all MWSPC staff observes standard HSE processes and operating procedures. Education - Experience - Qualifications Minimum Education: Technical diploma/degree in chemistry or equivalent. Experience and Qualifications: 6+ years of related experience within the Petroleum, Chemical, Fertilizer/Mining or other Industrial Manufacturing organizations.
