JOB Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for monthly close and other basic accounting responsibilities related to reconciliation, AR & AP.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in monthly close process and ensure proper documentation and filing of support information
Assist in calculating and preparing journal entries for local transactions as indicated in the monthly close checklist
Assist in review of monthly financial statements and assist in preparation of variance analysis against forecast and prior month
Assist in preparation of balance sheet reconciliation
Assist in management of audit (internal, external and statutory)
Assist in operational financial and capital analysis

MInimum qualifications:
University degree business/accounting, preference for professional qualification i.e. ACCA, CPA, CA or CMA
Fluency in English
preferred qualifications:
2 or more years in Finance or Accounting
Oracle experience preferred
Multinational business familiarity essential
