Your Main Responsibilities
• The Aircraft Technician will be limited to the authorized level of maintenance within the boundaries of the RSAF Maintenance Manual, RSAF Technical Orders and TSI Technical Orders
• Maintain good engineering practices
• Carry out TCTO s and SI s when directed
• Have a thorough knowledge of Aircraft Safety Devices and operating areas
• Understand the tool control processes and make sure they are complied with
• Understand and comply with the SAFO program
• Able to work within the requirements of the QMS
• Advise on technical problems and provide up to date briefings and information on the daily progress of any issues affecting the Aircraft fleet
• Troubleshoot, repair, carry out pre and post instruction inspections, service, clean aircraft and related support equipment
• Perform role changes and reconfigure the aircraft as necessary
• Make sure the RSAF Form 1500 series is accurate and legible
Your Skills & Qualifications
• A minimum of high school (12th grade) education
• Have ILETS of 4.5
• Holding RSAF AMS/AMT skill level 7 in mechanical systems on PC9, Hawk, JetStream or Tornado platforms
• Successfully completed a BAE Systems Saudi National Training Program in Mechanical Systems
• Have normal colour vision and be physically fit
• At this time due to our growing fleet of aircraft, we require a Hawk or PC9 AMS/AMT specialist who has extensive experience in HPO and PE servicing
• Will be able to demonstrate experience on the Hawk or PC9 platform in respect to deep maintenance
• Must have completed a formal Hawk or PC9 Aircraft training course in the AMS/AMT discipline
• Must be quality minded, a mature individual that adopts a positive approach to aircraft maintenance and support issues
• Must have and be able to demonstrate sound oral and written two-way communication skills, with the ability to be confident when dealing with people of all levels
• Be able to work in close harmony in a multi-cultural work place
• Must have an understanding and application of human factors, error management, health and safety, hazard analysis appropriate to the role
