Role Context:
KBR has been awarded a support contract by the UK Ministry of Defence (UK MOD). Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide communications network support and deliver training services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a significant project that expands our portfolio of work with the UK MOD and in the Middle East.
Under the contract, KBR is seeking to recruit staff to deliver:
Support in delivering IP Telephony, host applications such as Network Management System, Cable Management Systems and incident management software
Operation of Service Desks
Support to maintain the operational capability of Fixed & Deployable equipment/capabilities.
Design & deliver a new Management Information System
Technical & English Language Training
Built Estate maintenance and upkeep
General:
To maintain the training documentation in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems within the training design and development areas. To deliver a programme of continuous course design review and improvement for all individual training as outlined in the Scope of Services (SofS) delivered at the Military Telecommunications School.
Specific:
Act as DSAT documentation subject matter expert for KBR within the Military Telecommunications School
Advise Senior Managers on the Military Telecommunications School’s training design and development issues which contribute to achieving transformation objectives and assist long-term planning and change management.
Develop the strategic approach to training design and development within the school in conjunction with the Training Support Manager and the Authority
Oversee the development of annual training schedules and associated external training
Ensure that training schedules match the Programmes of Instruction (POI)
Contribute towards the development of competency frameworks for the Military Customer’s technicians
Assist with the Military Telecommunications School’s ability to develop training delivery by alternative means, such as TEL, CBT, Distance Learning, VLEs, Individual Learning Contracts, Coaching and Mentoring
Enhance professional development by providing a range of learning and development opportunities that are available to staff
Ensure staff management procedures are carried out in accordance with Company directives
Analysis
Design, develop and maintain the required output documentation of Training Needs Analysis, as mandated by JSP 822, where delegated by the TRA
Monitor performance by gathering and analyzing relevant data across current customer/KBR systems including TEL
Co-ordinate and review RFC activity and monitor progress
Administration
C-ordinate the administrative functions supporting Training Design
Reporting
Deliver management reporting for all training development activity in a variety of formats as directed (weekly, monthly, at end of courses)
Deliver the results of analysis and evaluation as directed with supporting information about best practices
Deliver statistical reports on performance and compliance with any need for improvement to facilitate the contractual requirements of the SofS
Office Administration
Ensure department procedures are carried out in accordance with Company directives
Maintain an efficient prioritized electronic filing system
General office administration duties
Maintain all documentation in line with local Data Protection guidelines
Other duties as required by the Training Support Manager:
Assist in selection testing for new entrants (if required)
Assist in the Invigilation of tests as directed
Assist in the marking of tests as directed
Assist with Internal Validation as directed
Provide leave and absences cover for the Training Support Manager

Liaise with Scope of Services contract stakeholders as directed.

المهارات
Essential:
Training and/or Education qualification at Level 5 or above
Desirable:
Familiarity with military telecommunications would be an advantage
Experience and Skills:
Essential:
At least five years’ training management experience, managing a minimum of 5 personnel
At least five years’ training analysis, design and development experience
Demonstrate expert knowledge of the implementation of Systems Approach to Training (DSAT or international equivalent system, compliant with BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems)
Experience with Technology Enhanced Learning
Provide experience of staff management and performance development and reporting
Provide evidence of the preparation of concise management reports and presentations in English
Skilled in the use of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, etc.
Be fluent in Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening in the English Language
Hold a valid driving license from country of origin
Desirable:
Familiarity with managing within a military training establishment would be an advantage
Have knowledge and understanding of the cultural aspects of life in Saudi Arabia
