Air conditioning technician install, inspect, maintain, and repair the air conditioners.
They ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
Performing regular maintenance work on cooling units.
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
Also install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged.
Making adjustments and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.
Install new air-conditioning systems and equipment.
Cleaning blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.
Making plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.
Inspecting and maintain refrigerators and ice machines, and chilled water supply systems.
Possess high school/vocational school diploma or G.E.D or technical training in HVAC systems
Working experience maintaining and repairing heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and other related systems such as electrical systems, DX units, heat pumps, and chillers.
English is must.
