P osition : Welding QC Inspector
Education : Degree or Diploma in Engineering
Job Description
1.Witnessing of welder qualifications testing.
2.Witnessing of procedures qualification testing .
3.Monitor, verify and review the equipments / instruments calibration/ validation status.
4.Inspection of fabricated product as drawing.
5.Ensure all works are carried-out as per standards/section codes/work scope prior to offer the client inspection.
6.Prepare nonconformance reports to the QA/QC Supervisor and assist in developing corrective
actions.
7.Verify the control and issue of welding electrodes .
8.Monitoring the daily welds & Reviewing of the welding summery reports.
9.Recording and listing of defective welds.
10.Witnessing any remedial repair welding.
11.. Monitor any Post Weld Heat Treatment and review the completed test reporting. 12.Checking the hydrostatic test packages for NDT compliance prior to testing.
13.Review all inspection reports for compliance.
14.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English Communication skills with clarity for all to understand
15.Knowledge oflnternationalSection Codes / standard requirements, rules and regulations.(ANSI
31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section II, V, VIII and IX, API 6D, 527, 576, 598, 600, 602, 608, 609,
620 and 650,AWS D1.1).
16.Compliance with the health and safety regulations

Experience :
should have a minimum of six (06) years experience in manufacturing plant, including two (2) years of this inspection in the specice commodity and process of ins pection.
Inspector shall be certified as an American Welding Society CWI, CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding
Inspector or approved equivalent and certified to a minimum ASNT level II in the relevant methods
