Qualification & Experience:
Preferably Bachelor Degree with minimum 15 years experience in Ceramic Moulds and Ceramic Tile Manufacturing Process and managerial role with Ceramic Moulds
Key Accountabilities
-Resource management, ensure regular training and development of people to ensure continuous improvement in the skill and capability levels b) Ensure proper maintenance of machines
-Utilization Ensure efficient utilization of resources and meet the Department goals
-Efficiency Effective planning and execution to ensure plan to actual effectiveness to meet the department goals.
-Innovativeness Motivate team for achieving Rewards / Appreciation / Awards / Man power- evaluation, training and hiring
-Control expenses - Reduce cost of manufacturing without compromising the quality.
-Productivity Ensure continuous improvement in the process to improve speed and reduce lead times.
-Based on the production schedule prepare the moulds and ensure no dimensional variations, assembly the same on the suitable presses and maintain the spare punches and liners to the running production operations. Also maintain the record of the life cycle of the punches, liners and moulds.
-Check production planning schedules which are received from the main production plant and planning dept for coming month and arrange the moulds and punches according to the requirement
-Raise required purchase requisitions for new punches (plain lower, upper back side punches, isostatic lower and upper punches, liners & mould related accessories as required.)
-Focus on day to day innovation of moulds to support the market demand for survival.
-Maintaining Mould Work shop in organizing and preparing all kind of punches and moulds ( new and to be reconditioned)
-Producing master moulds for new designs deciding the profiles to be produced without quality issues from punch manufacturing & supporting tile production.
-Inspecting the quality of steel to producing punches and moulds.
-Preparation and confirmation of the drawings for moulds and liners in AutoCAD and Photoshop.
-Maintaining records for all moulds and related accessories size wise
-Maintaining all the machines related to moulds preparations and assembly.
-Quality monitoring and maintaining of Rubberizing process.
-Maintaining the consumables and cost control accordingly.
-Taking the responsibility of moulds which running in the presses.
-Taking the responsibility of solving all the moulds related problems in tiles production to support the quality in the output from the presses.
-Follow the safety procedures related to moulds handling in operations.
-Quality inspection of moulds and liners which we are importing.
Quality Management system related responsibilities:
-Ensure Quality Management System processes are well established, implemented, maintained and documented.
-Report to your Manager on the QMS performance and where improvements are needed,
-Ensure that everyone in your department is aware of customer requirements (customer Focus)
