Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Management of Water Contracts
Management and support Procure to Pay process for Water department
Management and support the RFP and RFQ procurement process as required for implementation and construction of the Water infrastructure
Manage the RFP and RFQ procurement process as required for implementation Water Utility Entity
Consolidate and monitor RFP s and RFQ s
Consolidate and monitor Contract and Procurement commitments
Assist all Water departments in the procurement processes
Management of relevant Yearly Budgeting process for Capital expenditure and Operating Expenditure
Management of relevant Quarterly forecasts for Capital expenditure and Operating Expenditure
Report on advancement of key contracts toward targets
Support implementation of Order to Cash process for the Water utility entity
Support the implementation and management of Water Utility Company
Work in Collaboration with the Financial and Legal departments to align Water departments with global standards and regulations.
Assist all Team members with the Processes and Procedures implementation
Support the process for NDA s and MOU s approval
Support of cross functional Projects and Programs related to the Sector
Deliver high quality, innovative project solutions that provide real value to the company
Control and Monitor the Risk Management aspects for projects and for Water utility
Education & Experience
Bachelor s Degree in Economics or Engineering
MBA seen as favourable
Relevant work experience of 6 to 20 years
Project and/or Contract Management accredited certification seen as favourable
Experience in contract management and negotiation
Experience in complex Procurement Processes
Experience in Project and Program management
Experience in implementation and Control of Budgets
Implementation of processes and procedures, including ERPs
Experience in Financial management
Experience in Acquisitions, Mergers and Partnerships (JV) is a plus
Experience in the Water domain is a plus
Ability to work in complex organizations and collaborate across a matrix organization
Demonstrated ability to foster trusted long-term business relationships internally, with colleagues and stakeholders for mutual benefit
Strong and positive interpersonal, influencing, mentoring and negotiation skills
A good understanding of applying commercial concepts to develop and deliver business goals
Ability to work with large databases
Excel and power point proficiency
Knowledge of Quality & Safety and the importance of risk management
