Qualification & Experience:
-Graduation (Bachelor s Degree) or Diploma in Fire and Safety Engineering - with min 5 years experience with NEBOSH Award in Health and Safety at Work Certification/ NEBOSH IGC International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
-Candidate must have oil and Gas/ plant, Pipeline, construction project experience
Job Description
-Implementing management/client HSE rules and regulations.
-Conducting Safety Training/ Tool Box Talks at regular basis.
-Conducting regular safety inspections, Hazard spotting exercise.
-Management of work place safety, Safety induction.
-Conducting safety committee meetings and reviewing / implementing the recommendations made.
-To ensure, on daily basis that all operatives including subcontractors are working in a safe manner and complying with safety regulations.
-Responsible to provide safety materials and relevant documents like site safety hand books, posters, forms etc.
-Implementation of Management Safety Policies, Barricades, Sign boards, P.P.E., etc.
-Ensuring Safe Access/ egress to all the employees.
-Ensuring good housekeeping all the time.
-Investigating accidents and initiating corrective/preventive action to eliminate unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
-Monitoring lifting activities.
-Safety Audits, Job Hazard Analysis and Accident Investigations.
-Implementing Electrical Safety, Hot Work Safety, Etc.
-Maintenance of Safety at excavation and trench works.
-Safety related to handling and usage of compressed gas cylinders.
-Familiar with Safety Audits, LOTO, SATA, JHA, HAZCOM etc.
-First aid and emergency proceedings.
-Work equipment inspections.
-Book keeping filing and editing.
