You support your co-workers so that they make it possible for IKEA store visitors to take a natural break in their shopping for a tasty and nourishing meal, at a competitive price, in pleasant and relaxing surroundings with a taste of Sweden.

You ensure to achieve the Store Objectives like increase the sales of home furnishings, enhance Swedishness, the low price profile and drive traffic to the store.

You work with your manager to implement the agreed annual action plan for your area of
responsibility.

You are responsible with your manager to maximize vitality and commerciality of IKEA
FOOD in your store to increase sales and profitability according to pre-set goals.

Ensure that you have the customer in focus and meet your customers with a positive,
friendly and service-minded attitude i.e. Lead by example.
•
You ensure that the daily work routines are in place, that the displays are well-filled
and the range is presented in an optimal commercial way. Initiate actions to fill the restaurant at off-peak time and increase turnover per seat.

You ensure an effective implementation and presentation of the IKEA FOOD range matrix.
•
You work with your manager to implement range changes in your function according to the set
timelines in the Commercial Calendar.
•
You ensure the development of the theoretical margin through sales steering.
•
Promote a safe working environment for fellow co-workers, customer and visitors in line with
the local safety and security legislation and the IKEA Health & Safety policy, by reporting any safety hazards, concerns or ideas for improvement .

Ensure an efficient maintenance of the Commercial Areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience

Ensure that all co-workers in the IKEA FOOD commercial team understand the IKEA Concept and how this impacts on their specific roles

Effectively manage and inspire your team, with particular reference to their selection, training and development in order to ensure you have a competent and well informed team who can meet your customers needs and expectations and have in place a workable and realistic succession plan
