Purpose of the role
Leading Shift Operation Activity in FLS Saudi Arabia Cement manufacturing Project.
Your responsibilities
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
SAFETY:
+ Ensure compliance with the relevant statutory legislation and internal company Safety, Health & Environmental standards + Communicate clearly on information relating to potentially dangerous situations and get confirmation that they are correctly understood. + Ensure good working conditions and safety standards are maintained within all areas of production operations. + Ensuring the permit to work system and any other safety system (Hot Work, Confined Space, Work at Height, lifting, slinging and rigging, Braking Ground etc) are strictly adhered to. + Assess risks, carry out Risk Analysis and plan corrective actions as and when required. + Issuing or arranging for the issuing of any permits. + Responsible for ensuring good housekeeping from direct reports and other production functions
Operation
: + Coordinates activities with his supervisor and his staff of technicians. + Leading the Cement plant shift Operation. + Ability to organize, coordinate and accomplish multiple tasks. + Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally. + Strong communication and organizational skills. + Experience working with or establishing a team. Ability to be a team leader. + Demonstrated effective, systematic problem-solving skills. + Helps technicians during any troubleshooting.” give advice and directing them” + Ensure that technicians understand clearly what is required from them. + Check all areas equipment at plant and feedback to the direct superior about its performance. + Ensuring Cement production as per Quality Standards. + Arrange the work schedule and task to all technicians. + Tracks operating equipment to detect possible problems. + Prepares reports and written materials related to assigned activities + Ensure the housekeeping implemented effectively in all areas. + Ensures and checks that all safety and loss prevention procedures and good housekeeping practices are observed by subordinates for workshop and job site areas. Holds regular safety meetings with subordinates. + Equipment Down Time Reporting + Ability to develop and conduct trainings for Shift Operation Trouble to team.
What you bring
+ Relevant Bachelor of Science Engineering degree in Chemical or equivalent. + Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a Cement Plant. . + Displays honesty, ethics and integrity at all times. + Computer literate in MS Office. + Good Communication and Presentation Skills + Work in a team environment to extract maximum sales potential through collaboration with other FLS staff, product companies and divisions.
