The Sales Engineer leads, drive and run his/hers region and Sales objective for new investment, run-rate and new customers the Chemical market in the Southern half of the Netherlands. He/she works directly with the client in coordination with the Internal and international Pall team. In this exciting role you are able to layout the footprint of the position. Your passion for sales and technology drives and manage the Fluid Technology (fuel and chemicals) market to the next level. This role requires 70% (3-4 days per week) contact with customers (both travel and remote) within your region.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, drive and run your region; - Develop and grow the chemicals market in the Netherlands, working direct with the End User in Netherlands by coordinating with the Pall team: Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing; - Actively prospect customers; - Build up a long-term relationship with customer by proposing proactively technical solutions adapted to the customer´s process and in line with filtration and service needs. Being the reference in filtration in the customer’s office; - Financial budget responsibility for a variety of accounts.
Education, Skills and Competencies:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Technical Business Administration, or equivalent by experience; * Preferably 2-5 years of experience in Refineries, Steamcrackers environement (EPC, production sites or quipment suppliers to the fuels and chemicals industry); * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and fluent in both Dutch and English language; * Ability to listen and understand customer requirements; * Confident and persuasive; * Highly motivated and driven in sales and meeting challenging sales targets; * Problem solving approach; * Results-oriented; * Pro-active to identify new opportunities for growth; * Clear sense of urgency and business impact; * Background in refinery environment, including a network and stakeholder knowledge the Benelux.
