Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Dealing with insolvency cases. Documents financial transactions by entering account information. Financial forecasting and risk analysis. Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. Maintains financial security by following internal controls. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Managing colleagues, workloads and deadlines. Negotiating the terms of business deals and moves with clients and associated organisations. Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements. Preparing accounts and tax returns. Providing tax planning services with reference to current legislation. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Secures financial information by completing data base backups. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
