الوصف الوظيفي The Quality and Food Safety Officer manages the organization’s Food Safety Management System (FSMS), oversees food safety processes, audits, corrective actions, and keeps the organization informed of food safety issues. He works in conjunction with Production, planning & procurement, and Maintenance to ensure and improve food safety. He works with department managers to ensure ongoing compliance and audits. Regularly review all food safety procedures and instructions, to ensure they remain current. Manage the Food Safety Team and Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements pertaining to food safety throughout Develop the Company’s prerequisite programs and ensure that PRPs are implemented, monitored, and Prepare a Flow Diagram for each product or process category covered by the Food Safety Management System and verify the accuracy of those diagrams. Conduct hazard and risk analyses. Evaluate suppliers’/vendors’ food safety systems; monitor and report on supplier food safety Oversee the internal food safety audit program – select internal audit personnel, review results of food safety audits, ensure that corrective actions are understood, and supervise corrective actions.Reporting on corrections and corrective actions taken at Management Review meetings. Collect, analyze, and publish measurement data, to determine the root cause of process and product food safety problems and recommend action to resolve those problems.
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science Degree or other related degree (chemistry, Microbiology, etc..).ISO 22000 certified lead auditor. Minimum experience of two years in similar position. Knowledge of Food Safety (HACCP principals, cGMPs, SOPs and SSOPs, Pest Control, Allergen Control & Recall programs). Excellent communication and presentation skills both orally and written. Knowledge of local regulatory requirements e.g. SFDA, GSO. Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates as well as plan, monitor and schedule work. Lead ‘best in class’ behaviors with focus on food safety, quality assurance, and plant regulatory compliance. Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Working knowledge of statistical software programs. تفاصيل الوظيفة |
