• Responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products when necessary.
• Sales target achievement
• Implement and maintain contract compliance and promotional activities
• Regular call cycle for all key customers & central warehouses – create and implement workable and effective journey route on agreed format ensuring that all buyers and section heads are visited weekly
• 90% of the time spent in the market
• Complete a daily sales report and submit to Retail Area Manager
• Manage short expiry and damages
• Manage and maintain customer warehouse stocks
• Give direction and guidance to the customers in line with company objectives
• Customer purchase order input, collection and follow up
• Collect customer payment
• Ensure that all issues are addressed immediately and are reported to the Area Manager
• Monitor product availability reports by principal and review with the Area Manager
• Report on competitor activity
