Building the Right Forecast
1. Run the sales and operations planning process to ensure budget is met, supply and demand are balanced and forecast is updated on the system.
2. Maintain 24 months rolling Forecast (Item-channel-store/customer level)
3. Preparing statistical forecast:
a. Analyze forecast accuracy.
b. Analyzing category performance and trend.
c. Calculating Base line.
d. Calculating initiatives and trade deals effectiveness and cannibalization.
e. Capturing OOS effect and outliers.
f. Update item and region split.
g. Analyze on shelve availability
h. Analyze stores stock movement.
i. Maintain high confidence statistical forecast.
4. Highlight risk on the volumes based on statistical forecast and missing building block.
5. Ensure availability of all activities, promotion and discounted items as agreed in the marketing calendar.
6. Organize DRM:
a. Share the fiscal and strategic goals status.
b. Highlight risk & opportunity based on statistical forecast and missing building.
c. Direct the meeting to bridge the gap vs Strategy & Fiscal Goal.
d. Evaluate and challenge sales and trade marketing assumptions and input.
e. Discuss new products and finalize the launching plan volume.
f. Capture unconstrained forecast.
7. Organize BRM:
a. Review the plan and forecast with category management and marketing.
b. Align and capture the revised forecast and marketing calendar.
8. Organize SRM:
a. Align plans to mitigate or minimize the supply risks.
b. Capture the finalized forecast
9. Report the status of organizational strategy & fiscal Goal to be shared in the TMR.
10. Breakdown the finalized forecast to item and store/customer level and maintain on the system.
11. Maintain finalized building block or marketing calendar.
12. Capture any conflict or unreasonable assumptions to be shared in TMR.
13. Ensure forecast integrity in the system.
Following up with to meet Forecast
Follow up sales performance and stay on touch with sales team through weekly meetings, casual meetings, phone calls & E-mails in order to:
1. Highlight the gaps and opportunities.
2. Get the market feedback and challenges.
3. Set plans to meet the Forecast and capture expected gap.
4. Coordinate with supply chain team to cover stock gaps vs sales opportunity.
المهارات
· Profession knowledge of Supply chain management and operations.
· Profession knowledge of data analysis.
· Profession knowledge in MS Office Applications. Preferably with background in ERP
Program.
· Must be fluent in English and Arabic to a high standard and process strong communication
Skills.
