Overall responsibility to lead the culinary development for menus, popups, National Food Holidays, and Premium Special offerings. Ensure that all recipes are accurate from a flavour, yield and nutritional perspective.
Assume responsibility for leading the culinary development of retail menu solutions.
Development of on-trend flavour profiles relevant to the consumers.
Each project to be managed through a culinary scope document that details the complete deliverables of the project including a detailed timeline.
Responsible for the culinary aspects of the consumer insight process as they relate to retail recipe development.
Effectively engage with the team to share experiences, provide leadership growth opportunities, insight, coaching and career development. Work with RVP, District Managers, and General Managers to effectively source and onboard new team members and execute key training and development programs.
Ensuring close coordination and collaboration with Menu Category Development and Operations team during all stages of development.
Close collaboration with Culinary Operations to ensure that we are developing with specified products, that have broad availability to the field locations and conforming to established culinary systems & standards processes and recipe protocols.
Minimum 10 years of progressive culinary experience, with Executive Chef-level experience in food service, corporate, restaurant or hotel facilities. Experience with the new concept, menu and recipe development, food presentation and creative skills that result in the achievement of business objectives. Chain restaurant R&D;experiences a plus.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills.

Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to envision the implementation tools needed to successfully utilize a concept or brand at the unit level.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and effectively cope with change.
