Plans directs and carries out upgrading, overhauling, repairs, preventive maintenance, modification of electronic and electrical equipment in production , quality control & maintenance department machines, trouble shooting , testing and utility systems in the plant to ensures the continued operation and efficiency of plant and machinery.
This position is a working engineer involved in all aspects of electronic / electrical trade as well as providing directions to team members regarding electronic trouble shooting technique and repair due to high sophistication of work.
المهارات
Directs and carries out upgrading, overhauling, repairs, preventive maintenance, modification and installation work of all electronic equipment found in the production machinery’s testing system and utilities. Re-commissioning and tests electronic equipment after maintenance and production supervisor for acceptance of work.
Responsible for trouble shooting sophisticated electronic equipment, which are detrimental to good working of plant
Assist in conducting technical study and analysis on difficult or repetitive equipment malfunctioning, particularly on electronic controls and devices. Provides advices and recommendations from the electronic engineering point of view on problem analysis and study so that a corresponding solution or modification can be carried out to increase machinery efficiency and utilization.
Assists in determining job requirements for all scheduled and requested maintenance jobs. Inspects equipment and work site to determine extend of work, materials and tools requirement. Arrange support services from other trade as required.
Assists in preparing drawings, fabrication of control panels, programming equipment and devices, testing and commissioning of upgrading machineries with latest control system.
Maintains records of electronic boards or equipment taken from the machines for repair in the electronic workshop, schedule repairs and ordering of unavailable spare parts and testing of repaired boards or equipment.
Maintains the cleanliness an orderly arrangements of the electronic workshop, safe guard the delicate electronic instruments used in the workshop and assist in the control of all documents related to electrical / electronic maintenance.
Maintains and updates stock of electronic consumables in the electronic workshop to provide immediate repair of simple electronic boards and equipment, and liaison on special purchase of electronic items.
Ensures that all maintenance activities in Plants are carried out safely and in accordance with maintenance policies, procedures and manufacturers recommendations.
