· Analyze expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, or budgets for increasing profits and improving services.
· Responsible for getting deliveries to the right locations at the right time.
· Comply with operations policies and standards, including determining safety procedures for the handling of goods.
· Responsible for all of the dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles.
· Ensuring company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures.
· Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper compl-aints with authorization level (cost, scope, assets involved, territory covered, etc.…) above Transportation Supervisor role.
· Negotiate and authorize contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment, in coordination with central or group procurement manager.
· Involved in strategic development and strategy making for your assets e.g. Transport Management System
· Making sure that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
· Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities, and providing plans to implement solutions.
· Regularly liaising with the Regional Warehouse Managers to ensure a smooth running of both departments.
· Periodical site visits to the regional offices and/or remote sites to follow up on the implementation of set work processes and policies and taking immediate appropriate action to fix any deficiencies.
· Maintain a dashboard of fleet, assets, driver performance, expenses, budgets and other transportation related KPIs.

a) Leadership:
· Develop the guide lines to clarify the key responsibilities and practices to ensure the team promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership and teamwork to achieve business results.
· Ensure the implementation of Company programs, procedures, methods and practices to promote customer key messages and achieve a competitive advantage.
· Monitor & put actions in place to achieve Saudization plans
b) Self-Development:
· Ensure the alignment of the company best practice and initiate the development plan based on the outcome of PDR and Career Development Plan.
· Ensure performance review with line manager on quarterly bases and agree on action plan.
c) Performance Management:
· PDR or Appraisal for the Team: Team up with the HR partner to prepare and timely submit PDRs’ for all Team members, and ensure process completed on time as company communication and direction.
d) Organization & People Development:
· Development (Coaching & Training): Identify Team training needs and work with his Team and HR to ensure skills gapes are covered through systematic coaching and training courses & on the job coaching
· Building Team Talents: Build Area pool of talents to allow for promotions from within and to supply the organization with capable Supervisors & front lines.
