Reporting to the QA Manager, and will be a member of the Quality assurance team and a key participant in the company’s regulatory affairs. She/he will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all national & international, statutory legal requirement.
Manage the activities of Regulatory Affairs (SFDA, GSO, BALADIYA, other legal bodies) within the field of responsibility ensuring the implementation of appropriate and effective regulatory strategies.
Plan, undertake and oversee product trials and regulatory inspections.
Represent organizations before domestic or international regulatory agencies on major policy matters or decisions regarding company products.
Review all regulatory agency submission materials to ensure timeliness, accuracy, comprehensiveness, or compliance with regulatory standards
Keep up-to-date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines.
Liaise and coordinates with regulatory authorities in audits.
Implement regulatory affairs policies and procedures to ensure that regulatory compliance is maintained or enhanced
Ensure that quality standards are met, and that the deliverables meet strict deadlines.
Train staff in regulatory policies or procedures.
Product Registration with SFDA ( Local & Export)

Outstanding written and oral communication skills (English & Arabic), with ability to influence others and negotiate legal bodies.
Ability to develop innovative strategies and creative solutions within the regulatory context within the scope of global requirements and available resources
Problem solving skills
Technical skills
Good team working abilities
BE/B.Tech/MS Food Science with focus on Quality, Food Safety/Regulatory compliance (or appropriate related Degree)
Equivalent experience considered
In depth working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 22000, HACCP, SFDA, GSO standards
Experience in food Manufacturing/plant
Superior communication skills
Strong, negotiating and influencing skills with a professional approach.
Must be able to work independently and manage competing priorities in an effective manner.
